Planalytics turns 2 🎂
Today marks Planalytics’ second year of operation, and we won’t be the first business to say, ‘what a year it’s been!’. We have had the privilege of working once again with some incredible clients, contractors, mentors, and local businesses here in Wairarapa, and a fair chunk of that work took place during lockdown. We have been so impressed and inspired by how the people and organisations with whom we work alongside not only transitioned from ‘normal life’ to ‘Zoom life’ with apparent ease (and some fabulous virtual backdrops!) but have turned the challenge of COVID-19 into opportunities to innovate with courage and tenacity.
Alert levels 3 and 4 did not stop the Planalytics team from producing a variety of reports and infographics, including the compilation of monitoring dashboards of key metrics (such as health, housing, and transport) for Wairarapa, to better understand the challenges our region may face as we navigate the COVID-19 landscape. Thanks to Zoom and MS Teams, we have also talked to more people than ever, through interviews, surveys, presentations, digital modules, webinars, virtual conferences, and workshops. This year has also seen us ramp up our pro bono activity, to try, in our own small way, to influence change and achieve better community outcomes for all. These projects have been diverse, enormous fun, and great learning experiences. This year you’ll find us cooking up a storm with Ant North and The Pantry Challenge and delivering virtual seminars for Massey University.
Thank you to everyone we have worked with this year, and to those we are yet to work with. We look forward to talking to you soon!
